The Artist
Tamra Alexander Cook is a third generation artist surrounded by a large family of amazingly talented people.Tamra was born and raised in California and has spent the last 30 years living on the the Central Coast. After spending 18 years in corporate work in her family's business she decided to leave it behind and follow her passion and make a living doing what she loved, painting and decorating. She has trained under Martin Allen Hirsch in his studio in lovely Louisville Kentucky and learning some of his signature finishes from instructors such as Jackie Wiggens of Architexture Finishes in Alabama. She recently attended his class under the instruction of Cindy Everette to be able to create European old world finishes on furniture and cabinetry.
Tamra believes that:
1. You should love the environment you're in whether it be home or work
2. Your time is valuable. We keep our
scheduled consultation times and if we are delayed we let you know early.
3. It's important to use the best products for your
decorative finish. We use many which are low to no VOC's and are green products. That
will insure that you and your family will enjoy it for years to come as well as
being good for the environment.
4. It should not look like a hurricane went through your house while trying to make it beautiful. We go the extra step to keep your home
clean with our promise that when we leave your home it will be back to the way
it was when we first got there. 5. You should be adventurous. Come on, you know you want a little color on those walls.
