Do you charge for a consultation? 
   Yes. We charge $60.00 for an initial 1 1/2 hour consultation
Design services:  This includes discussion of which rooms are to be addressed, your personal style, what you are looking to accomplish, color consultation and furniture placement.  This includes one 1/2 hour follow up phone consultation to make any final decisions.  The price of the consultation is deducted from the contract if you use our services.  Any further consulting will be billed out an hourly rate of $65.00per hour with a one hour minimum.

Decorative finishes:  This includes 2 custom boards to represent your finish if you do not see exactly what you are looking for at the initial consult. The price of the consultation is deducted from the signed contract if you choose to have us provide a finish for you.  If any further boards are requested there is a fee of $25.00 per board. Up to 2 boards will be deducted from the contract upon signing.  Any more than the initial 4 boards will have a standard charge of $25.00 over and above the contract price.

Are the sample boards mine to keep?
   No, all samples are the property of Alexander Cook.  As we use very high quality products which cannot be bought locally the fee to produce these samples is a very nominal charge to help compensate for the cost of creating these sample finishes.  It does not cover the total cost of materials and time and therefore remain the property of Alexander Cook.

Do you offer a referral or finders fee?
    YES!  We believe that our best clients come from other happy clients and therefore want to show our appreciation for recommending our work.  We offer a 5% of the total new contract fee payable upon the signing of the new contract and after the second deposit has been paid.
